  This is how Track My Mac saved my computer A long story has became short thanks to Track my Mac, that was installed on my iPhone. How glad I was when the app helped me to find my MacBook. When I revealed it was stolen, I immediately locked it using the app on iPhone and started to locate my mac. The location the app showed was accurate enough to find my MacBook. Fortunately a thief didn't hold Mac too far, so I managed to find it for a day.

  Downloaded the app by my friend's recommendation. Didn't believe it could be so simple to use. It's almost invisible on my iphone, as it takes too little space. But the usefulness it brings, I suppose, is precious. Hope it will save my mac one day.

  I think this app is very cool thing! Never found something similar fro free. Great idea to design such a tracker to simplify searching for a lost mac. I suppose such an app should be installed on any iPhone whose owner cares about his mac.

  Sufficient application! Just need to install it on the iPhone, log in and set up to lock screen. Track my mac will do the rest. It’s easy to use with this simple interface, but I think the main advantage is an opportunity to report instantly from your iphone about a mac theft.

  Track a mac became an easy thing I hope thanks to the apps like this, it would be much easier to find lost macs, and the quantity of stolen computers will be reduced.   I just tried it out and tried to lock the laptop screen from the action in the app on my phone & it actually took a snapshot of me when I manually declined the lock screen on the laptop! It also gave a full report and exact coordinates/location of the laptop along with the photo.

  This is app is totally an added plus. The ability to lock and unlock a computer remotely is fantastic. Perfect for needing to lock your computer on the fly in case you step away and forget to do it yourself. I keep an extended window for putting any of my machines to sleep because I'm usually working from several at once and don't want to always going to sleep. The feature greatly appreciated!!!

  Like: the app is a good way to add some extra antitheft solution on a Mac. It is free. Dislike: can’t synced with iPhones 4. In general I’d give thumbs up for Track My Mac.

  I’ve got Track My Mac almost accidentally, then I wondered is it worth to leave it on my phone. Having checked it’s small size I have tried to run it and check the efficiency. It was surprisingly that the app finds the location precisely, so I decided to keep it and feel a bit more comfortable about my Mac security.

  Just got report that my grandson was trying to log in to my account. Report came With the photo!! Wow!! Now I'm sure that I will be notified about such intrusions. And even more - with this fancy app I feel that no one will steal my Mac from me without consequences! Thanks MacKeeper for such innovative approach to Mac security!!

  We had our mac stolen two years ago and everything with Kromtech worked, the police arrested the thief and we had the mac back. Good to see this app, has been made, I just tasted it, and the location works perfectly, let’s hope I will not have to use it!

  In theory this app is great, but in practice there are some minor bugs. 1. GPS location needs to be more accurate. My mac is located 4 doors down the road. Close, but not close enough to where it actually is. 2. I'm forever logging into the app to clear incorrect login reports when I've never logged out of the app in the first place. The app fails to retain this information. Overall, this app is a great idea and is recommended for all mac owners.
